Regulations

1. Entries (including photographs) can be made by post or hand delivered to the Neerim South Post Office who have kindly offered to accept entries and forward them to the show. All entries left at the NSPO must contain an entry form, entry fee in a sealed enve-lope & be securely attached to the prints.
2. Cheques should be made payable to the Neerim District Agricul-tural & Horticultural Society Inc.
3. All photographs to have name, address, section and class number to be noted on the back.
4. No framed photographs.
5. Maximum size including mount, no larger than 20cms x 30cms (8”x12”) Any exhibit not mounted will not be accepted.
6. Can be mounted on black or any other colour.
7. No professional photographers to enter.
8. Novice section— Both the exhibitor and the exhibit must not have won any prize in any photography competition.
If these regulations are not followed your entry will not be accepted.

VAS Regulations

Each exhibit entered must be the bona fide work of the exhibitor.
Professional photographers are not eligible to enter. (someone that
derives the greater percentage of their income as a photographer)
An exhibit having won at a show will compete at a Group Final. The
winning exhibit will then compete in the State Final.
An exhibitor may represent only one local show at Group level and
one Group at State level.
An exhibit having won at State Final, is no longer eligible to compete
in the competition.
If for any reason a winner is unable to compete at Group or State
Final level then the second placegetter is eligible to compete.
A person will not be permitted to win at more than one show
within the State in any one show year. Persons not adhering to this
rule will be required to forfeit/refund any prize money.
All work to have been completed in the last twelve (12) months
prior to its entry at a local show/field day.
An exhibit may only win one Group Final in a show season (spring
to autumn), should the same article be entered again and found to
have won a Group Final in the same season the exhibitor must
forfeit/refund any and all prizes and will be disqualified from
exhibiting for 12 months.
Late entries not accepted.
